My first operation is booked in for the 23rd of July! They are going to operate on my right leg first and do both stages in 1 operation. So this will mean a 3 week stint in Sydney Macquarie University Hospital so I can be up and weight bearing before I come home. The second operation to start the left leg (short leg) will follow. Super excited!!

We had so many fantastic items donated that we were planning to auction at the Ball but we wouldn't have managed the time to get through them all on the night. South Burnett Mayor Wayne Kratzmann along with Corky at Crow FM 90.7 will be holding a Radio Auction this coming Friday the 11th of April from 6am-9am. Please click on the Auction Tab on my website to see all items available and call 41690700 during the above times if you would love to have one or more of these in your possession.
Wow Wow Wow is all I can say! We had a Brilliant night on Saturday the 29th of March. There were so many people involved in pulling The Ball together and so many people who made it such a great success. Thank you to everyone! Words can not express how truely grateful I am to so many people who have kindly donated to help me achieve my goal. Everyone has been so generous, supportive and encouraging, it means so much to me to know that so many people believe in me and want to see me up on legs again. The Apex Club of Murgon donated a huge $10,000 to my appeal on Saturday night. With the money from the Auction items and all of the money raised on the night, having the Ball has raised over $20,000. I would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a happy and safe New Year! Thank you all so much for your love, support and encouragement this past 4 months of fundraising especially. I hope to see you all next year for more fun and awesome events! We are halfway there, so exciting!!
The winner of the painting donated by Cherry Carroll of Nimue Art in Kingaroy "Wombie" was Renae Coulson (Business owner of Murgon Bakery). Congratulations, I know he will be very well looked after!
It's all about legs this Friday night at the Murgon Golf Club! Our Calendar will be launched along with an auction of all the photos on canvas. Come along for great food, a 2 course bbq meal prepared by our very own "Raj Begeda", entertainment, drinks and great company. We also have personalised "Shona, Help me walk again" bottles of wine for sale, Red and White. Burnett Valley Vineyards supplied the selection of wine. Wine can be purchased for $20/bottle or our special deal on realease night of a Calendar + Bottle of wine for $35. Calendars are for sale for $20 each and will also be available for purchase next week at the Murgon Pharmacy, Wondai Pharmacy, Mark Smith Meanswear, Murgon Bakery, Mobbs Mitre 10 & Dennis Electrical. What a fantastic night we had on Friday night. The Canvases were extremely well received and the auction was a great success! The calenders were really popular, we sold half of them on the night. We made approximately $5,000 from this event which is an amazing achievement. We now have approximately $30,000 overall. The calendars are limited to what we have left so get in quick to purchase your copy from the business listed above. Bottles of wine can be ordered or purchased at Dennis Electrical! Hi all, Looking forward to catching up this Sunday 17/11/13 at the bowls day. Hope all can make it coz it will be great fun. Wow....what a fantastic day we had on Sunday. The weather held out for us to play bowls for the afternoon, we had a lovely afternoon tea, an amazing dinner, some fantastic music by "BRUZZ" (thanks so much guys it was awesome) and we also had some great prizes for all sorts of fun challenges. We made $2,500 from this day which brings us to about $19,000 in the bank account so far. Absolutely amazing!! Welcome to my new website! I hope you enjoy it and follow my new journey. Thanks to all who have volunteered to be leg models, can't wait to see the end product in our calendar!
